This exhibition invites visitors to plunge into the mysterious world of the deep sea, journeying from shadowy waters into the heart of scientific exploration.
The first section, Deep-Sea Aquarium, unveils the extraordinary appearances of deep-sea life—creatures that have evolved unique forms and senses to survive under extreme conditions, using faint light and endurance to resist the eternal night.
The second section, Specimen Laboratory, reveals the delicate craft behind scientific research. From collection and freezing to preservation and coloration, each specimen is a meticulous study and preservation of life’s diverse forms.
The third section, Deep-Sea Research Notes, returns to the human perspective, following in the footsteps of deep-sea researchers. Through their observation journals and scientific instruments, this section shows how knowledge emerges from the depths of the unknown.
Together, the exhibition offers a voyage through darkness and discovery—a contemplation of life at its very limits.
