海洋伸展台

如同時尚產業的伸展台一般，臺灣‧國立海洋科技博物館(以下簡稱海科館)將打造一個平台，能夠同時實體及虛擬的展示這個時代的潮流趨勢，透過每年不同的主題，精選世界各地在不同領域的心血---詩集、服飾、設計、海洋人物…，用不同的型態展出，藉此喚醒社會大眾對於國際及海洋議題的關注，也期待能創造出海洋文化新型態與價值，也讓民眾有更多元的方式接近海洋的美。

年度主題

2016年，是海洋伸展台系列計畫第一年，主題為「永續海洋的啟發」之時尚作品，海洋伸展台計畫團隊，預計邀請全世界10-15組最能符合及呼應本年度主題的作品，參與為期一個月的展出活動，內容為其設計的商品及概念，藉由呈現當前海洋時尚新潮流、科學與藝術文化相結合，讓民眾能接觸對於海洋不同的視野與關懷。

展出時間：2016年10月15日─2016年11月15日 (2016年10月15日為活動開幕日，當日將與淨灘嘉年華一同舉辦)
展出地點：潮境公園、海科館主題館

海洋伸展台計畫團隊，將主動回顧世界各地近年發表符合本計畫的時尚設計，並邀請展出其設計與理念，若您也認同及期待參與本計畫，亦可主動與我們聯繫並告知欲參與展出的展品，計畫團隊將與計畫相關程度做審慎評估並給您回覆。

Ocean Runway

Since our chartering, National Museum of Marine Sciences& Technology (NMMST) in Taiwan has devoted its resources and energy to raising the awareness of the sustainability of our oceans, and communicating with the public not only through the traditional way but combining different segments for people to easily understand the ocean culture. This year, NMMST started a new project---Ocean Runway to create and offer a platform--- Ocean runway as a catwalk in the fashion industry that could demonstrate the mix of craft, storytelling, science, and philosophy.

Annual Theme

2016, will be the 1st year of this project with the theme of “ocean friendly” and “ocean inspired”. We expect to select and invite 10-15 outstanding fashion designs from all over the world inspired by the ocean or with the idea related to our theme of the year. We will display the creations together with the design concept in an outdoor/ indoor exhibition.

Dates of the exhibition: Oct. 15th – Nov. 15th, 2016
(opening ceremony is on Oct. 15th with an coastal cleanup carnival)
Place: Chaojing Park, Main Exhibition Building, NMMST, Taiwan
