The ICOM Prague 2022 General Conference is celebrating the Power of Museums from August 20 to 28 in Prague. The NMMST cooperates with Chinese Association of Museums on the website of Taiwan Pavilion themed ‘An Intelligent Ocean Museum’ as an introduction to the museum and its technology exhibition.
The National Museum of Marine Science & Technology (The NMMST) is more than just a museum. It epitomizes balance, combining modern design and scenic landscapes. Encompassing an area of over 500,000 square meters in the city of Keelung’s Badouzi Harbor, the NMMST includes an award winning Museum Complex, breathtaking highland viewpoints, and numerous parks and trails. The Museum Complex, which includes the Main Exhibition Building, Ocean Theater, and the Regional Exploration Building, features detailed exhibitions pertaining to marine science, technology, ecology, and culture.
Chaojing Intelligent Ocean (Intelligent Ocean, i OCEAN for short) is one of the venues of the National Ocean Science and Technology Museum. It uses unique resources, integrates between mountains and seas, and combines emerging display technologies to create a 5G immersive experience and AR and VR underwater tunnel adventures in Chaojing Bay. Experience, the whole area is divided into four areas: A main exhibition area, B interactive experience and leisure area, C ocean center, and D store area. There are 320 kinds of marine creatures on display. Aquarium and restoration base for marine life.
